We're going to do this again this year. Discuss the first round of the playoffs here: if any one series generates enough discussion, it will be splintered off into its own thread, but we're not going to start from the premise that every first-round series needs its own thread, only to end up with 4-6 three-post threads.

Why don't they put the playoffs logo on the court anymore?

I guess it's not important but I've noticed it since Stern left and for whatever reason, it takes away.

Milwaukee has looked impressive to me; I wish that people weren't so terrible, so that they (Antetokuonmpo, in particular) could get the love they deserve.

Please, John Hammond, pretty please build a championship contender around Giannis Antetokuonmpo. I will be heartbroken if he ends up leaving Milwaukee to chase a ring.

Look at the way Milwaukee won. Giannis is an absolute monster, but when you look at everyone else, you realize that they don't have the best players. They're all just a bunch of high IQ players with great coaching. This continues to reflect back on the Cousins tenure for me.

You don't need elite players. You just need great coaching, leadership, and players buying in. Exactly what we saw from the Bucks in round 1.

Because Cousins played with so many "high IQ players with great coaching," like...? And that reflects on Cousins, how?

This is going to sound ****ed up, but I hope that Favors is injured... Otherwise, if he lost his starting job to Boris Diaw? o_O

EDIT - Holy ****! Gobert just went out, on the first play of the game!

Jazz play great D. George Hill is making life hard on Paul. Ingles and Hood sticking to Redick like glue.

They can't match up with Blake though and losing Gobert turns Jordan into an issue
