So, what's the tweet that makes you feel like you somehow need to go take a shower?

Georgios Papagiannis has an edge. Love that. He looks soft, but he isn't. Just needs to keep toning that big body.

I almost threw up. How long can it be before she starts talking about his rippling muscles?

God, I hate the Lakers. :p
Funny I don't recall Ailene ever saying this about our last enormous bigman prospect.

wish we got a little more on the boards from Skal.

3 boards in 33 minutes is low enough to make Willie scoff.

8/13 from the field and what i like most about Skal is that he doesn't seem to force anything...which is really rare for a player his age, with his talent, just finally getting an opportunity. Not too passive, not too aggressive. He already has the maturity of letting the game come to him...and we know he's a better rebounder than that.

it's really just about building his body. His offensive game is pretty developed. He can score on the perimeter, mid-range, and downlow. He has a go to move and can create his own shot. Once he can't be pushed around anymore by guys like Thomas Robinson or Julius Randle. He'll be a force.

i normally love us beating the lakers no matter what cuz i hate them that much. but today i heard that if the lakers lose their pick this year, they also lose their 2019 first round pick. so in order to prolong their suckiness, i am ok with us losing to the lakers tonight. i dont like it, but i am ok with it.
I'm not okay with it exactly, but I won't lose sleep over it...and I'm not going out into the middle of the storm to kick the Ponderosa Pine in my front yard.

I was going to give Joerger props for at least semi assisting the tank for once by not playing WCS in the fourth, until I saw WCS was -20...

I thought he looked good for the most part, and have been pleasantly content with WCS of late

If the Kings finish season tied with Wolves, due to their regular season 3-1 head-to-head do they finish behind in ping-pong balls?
No, the league office does a coin flip (or a series of coin flips) for teams with the same record to determine the order and then they split the ping pong balls equally. Head to head only matters for playoff seeding.

Very pleased with this important loss for draft odds today....a must-lose! 3 more losses to go.
Absolutely. This is a great night to be a Kings fan! I look for Wolves to beat LAL on Sunday and pass us. I look for more of "NO PG" lineup in final 3 games. And more ball handling misadventures with Ben, Buddy and Galloway! For fans upset about this meaningless loss, we could have beat that sorry team by 10 to 15 points if Joerger plays Collison in the 4th. You don't think he knows this?! We could have won easily if we wanted to. The Kings were getting great shots every time when Collison was on the floor and those shots dried up with him sitting. I commend Joerger for resisting temptation to win. If Kings had won they were looking at the 9th and 10th pick. The Pelicans pick is fairly entrenched now at #10 with DET winning and NOP getting routed in DEN. The Pelicans are playing back-to-back tomorrow in GSW with KDs return.... chalk that up as a big fat L!

With 9th and 10th pick the Kings could be left with no SF or PG prospects. That would be unfortunate given needs on roster and how draft is stacked with SF and PG at the top. If we do the right thing and lose at least two of the next three we have good shot at 7th to get PG or SF prospect with all star potential. (Isaac or Frank N or maybe Fox if he slides). Then at #10 we can hope for Isaac or Bridges (though I think Bridges is more of a SG). And #10 is nothing to sneeze at since many see talent drop after #10. So this is good news if player we want there doesn't slide, that pick could have nice trade value.

I believe aforementioned in some way, shape or form was communicated by Vlade to our esteemed coach and he had the good sense tonight as he did vs Mavs to give team best chance to lose without being overt about it. The other significance of this game is we have little chance of catching NOP now. If they beat LAL then there's no way we can lose our pick by finishing 10th worst and someone jumping us and push pick to 11th. That would be catastrophe to convey pick to Bulls and outside possibility if we won out. Again, Joerger knows this. He's no dummy. He's just playing within rules. Finally shout out to Galloway for his plus/ minus of negative 18 and Tyreke for his 1 for 4 FGs and 2 assists against 3 TOs. And special props to Affalo for his epic 2 points in 19 minutes. These are the bums, er players, I was counting on and they did not let me down!

At this point getting 2 picks is most important. If they lose out I think it becomes heavily probable to at get 2 picks even if 9/10. 7 and 9 would be wonderful. Would love either Smith/Fox and Bridges/Issac/Markkenan....any combo of that would be excellent. If the Kings bring back Lawson, the Kings will have a full 2nd string unit i.e. 10 player rotation I'm thinking. Cauley-Stein is showing improvement and PapaG is getting good developmental minutes. They may not be a playoff team next year, but it'll be interesting to throw the mix together and let them compete.

Either you misread the +/- stat or the site you were looking at had it wrong, but Willie was -2, not - 20.

I actually feel like we beat the Lakers today at their own game. I am enjoying our youth movement, this group has a real positive about it and we increased our chances of coming back stronger next year. Soon enough this lottery mentality will be well behind us.

If they ever let me back into the country, and I make it to the new arena, I will buy you a beer VF21 and we can have a good laugh about it.

It would've hurt the Kings' draft 100%. We would've been pushed back and tied with Dallas for 8&9, increasing the likelihood of losing our draft pick.
We are already somewhat likely to end up in a 3-way tie with the 7-9th worst record (depending on whether Dallas loses 2 or all 3 of their remaining games).

Cauley-Stein is slowly making progress. He is at least looking like a solid NBA starter, and progressing into more than a role-player. His offense is coming along.

This particular team needs to work on their help-defense alot. PapaG and Hield were ball-watching too much, but at this point its a welcome sight. It looks addressable too. The beauty of tanking is it affords losing, and affords coaches to let their players make mistakes and look at problem areas with a backwards goal of losing. Players who aren't performing well get their chances to analyze their bad habits and tendencies. Poor performance is not only allowable but desirable for a limited duration. I'd like to see the Kings pick up Lawson in the off-season for (new) mid-level salary - a 3 year contract and draft two top-10 players. Would love to see a 10-deep roster with evenly spread minutes to help cut back on injuries. Next year will be a growing pain, but hopefully the team will find cohesion. They have no all-stars currently, but they may be able to make up for it. As for the picks, at this point, I'd like to see Smith and Markkenon.

I'm also hoping Lawson is brought back. I also like Collison but assuming we are grooming a young PG I somehow think Lawson is more suited. He seems to be staying out of trouble.
Your draft picks are currently not at the top of my list, but a lot can change between now and draft day. Isn't defense a big knock on Markkenon?
