I think he's a SG and there isn't a spot for him here long-term barring some other major moves. He has a player option for next year that I can't see him not taking so he'll be here. But I don't know that he is a helpful piece.

I don't think he's very good at all. Pelican fans seem to like him but he hasn't done much here. Can hit the open shot but I haven't seen anything about his defense or running the offense that I've liked.

Sadly he is better than Ben. His shooting percentage is worth having. But we have so many shooting guards. I hope we can make a couple of good trades in the off season.

He's shooting 47% from 3 point land this year. That's what he's good at and that's something we really need.
I disagree. We were already top 5 in 3 point shooting before we got Galloway. He doesn't do anything else other than shoot the 3.

Defense is what we really need.

A nice piece to have as your 4th or 5th guard.

On a team that is starting over with youth, I don't really see the need. Unless you think he has sneaky upside and lock him in a cheap deal, he's not quite young enough, and a little too good.

Seems like a nice player to have to fill the 3rd PG/combo guard role. Defends PG's pretty well and hits a nice percentage of jump shots. What is not to like?
If he can play a bit of PG, no better time than now to give him the keys and see what we got. No novice PG's whats been keeping us in games lately. I'm also very curious about Buddy's ability to run the show. If Vivek believes he has the next Steph lets check it out and see if hes right.

I'm still waiting on some substance to that besides some laker beat writer tweeting sighting his "sources".

But back to Galloway I hope he opts in a shooter like him is always welcome. Seems you can get them for cheaper than a 7th overall pick too evidently. And he's only 25 he can still very much grow with the team.

Kinda agree a bit with everbody on Galloway. Not great at anything but seems a reliable perimeter shooter/scorer and defends and handles the ball OK. All of which seems a step above poor Ben who only brings athleticism and is a nice guy.

Galloway would be a handy guard to have on a a team where big initiate a lot of the offense like Kings had with Cousins or Memphis with Gasol or just plain triangle offense where you need your PG to bring the ball up, dump it to a big man and play off the ball as a spot up shooter. I think Langston would have been a pretty good pick up for Kings while Cousins was running the show.

Maybe we can trade him back to N.O for that 2018 first lol.
