[Game] Kings v. Nets - 3/1/17 - 7:30PT/10:30ET

SLAB

Hall of Famer
Details please I can't see the pre or post game stuff in so cal.
@VF21 talked about it a few posts back... I think someone tried to bait Joerger into talking about DMC and coach wasn't having it.

Koz says he's in a tough situation, but he needs to be more professional. Be polite. Kayte C defends Joerger saying it was a rough question.

Koz has joined the #Culture Police.

I re-listened to that segment three times, and got a totally different understanding of what was being said.

Koz was attacking the dude asking the meandering, leading question, NOT JOERGER.
Kayte said repeatedly "I'm gonna jump in front of that question" (meaning, she's going to defend coach from that absurd question)

Joerger being coach and Kings staff, they all immediately defended the coach (which is what this broadcasting crew's main job is now) and knee-jerk attacked someone who dared try to bring up a stinger question that would bring the FO's mistakes to light.

Anyone know who the reporter was? Leo Bias?
Whoever it was so hopelessly whiffed on the question, he didn't even make his point even though he spent 30 seconds saying it, and let Joerger actually answer it (properly!) with "So what's your question"?

This game was so bad, even a reporter who decided to stake his team access by asking a pointed question fumbled the ball and turned it over.

Drink the Kool-aid. Drink the Kool-aid. There's a bright future ahead for those few who believe in Vlade and Vivek with all their hearts.

These are character building losses!
Dang I'd almost forgotten. Now that we've traded Cousins we've got no shot at the moral victory championship. Darn you Vivek!

Losing is a stench that can take years to get over. Right when it looked like this team was starting to make even a teeny attempt at gaining positive momentum, we decided to go right back to losing again.

It's not about moral victories, it's about building an actual winning culture as opposed to "building a winning culture" like Vlade seems to want to do.

Well good thing our team in 2 years is going to be playing exactly the same as this injury ridden team that just traded away its best player and needs a completely different style of play with less than a handful of practices then.

People are like "this team sucks we can't even beat the Nets!" and the very next moment are saying that we should be tanking. Wut.

The arena is going to be as empty as it is right now at all times by the end of the season.

Good job, Vlade.
I'd go if hield, WCS, and Skal were playing 35 minutes a game to support our young guys. But joerger won't stop playing koufos, Tolliver, lawson, and Collison for some reason. Still shocked vlade didn't trade them.

Yes I watched Skal and the OTHER 4 guys get scorched... however... it's not because he was letting his man jack open shots and it's not because he was carelessly turning over the ball.... WE JUST SUCK.... Skal is seriously one of the few that's been hustling non stop.... he's rebounding is a DIRECT indication to how hard he's going.... ONLY TOLLIVER HAD 1 MORE REB THAN SKAL THIS GAME..... TOLLIVER PLAYED ALMOST TWICE THE MINS.... OTHERWISE IN 15MINS SKAL WOULD HAVE BEEN TIED FOR LEADING REBOUNDS!!!!!!!

Joerger is a clown ...
Skal was consistently in the right spot on the floor. He goes to boards to secure superior position for possession or a tip. He was non-stop energy. Anyone who wants to criticize for him for his play last night in his first NBA start doesn't know the game or has irrational expectations. He was poised and pure on his shots. If anyone deserves to be criticized it's this Joerger character for playing him 15 minutes while Tolliver and Koufos were a combined 0-14 FGs.
