The most disappointing player is lifeless

He was supposed to take up the number one scoring mantle and be the leader of the team post Cousins

He's insignificant, and will be shuttled out this summer

Crazy that he got worse after his big man got shipped out and now defenses get to stick with him at all times. (I assume you mean Collison)

Games are not only unwatchable because of the play, but also because of Grant ****ing Napear always taking jabs to Boogie who isn't even here anymore
Agreed. And add in his false bravado and feigned excitement. If he could just once say, "Hey, I know they suck right now but they're learning things that will be helpful in the future when we're relevant again..." But he won't.

It's so sad to think that, had this farce of a trade not went down, the Kings would likely be tied for the 8th spot tonight. The way they had been playing, I don't think they'd have lost any of the past 3 games.

But they're so much better off w/o Cousins now that they can't even compete, at home no less, with a team that was 9-49 and had lost 16 consecutive games coming in.

The supposed dark cloud that was lifted after the trade was immediately replaced by billowing smoke from the dumpster fire this front office has created.

But, but... I thought we would be better without that big troublemaker. They said it would be addiction by subtraction. Doesn't culture win games? I don't understand... (((((

Oh but with Cuz we never won more than 33 or something games.... and bla bla bla bla bla. I hope people realize now that Cuz is the difference between a playoff team and the most embarrassing team in the league. Just one guy. Just him. That should tell a lot...

Over/Under 10.5 wins next year, Who takes the over?
We'll draft not one but TWO players that will have more #culture and #class than DeMarcus Cousins ever had.

Personally, my over/under is at 75 wins. Removing the cloud, then the rest of the season for healing, is all that's needed.

(Real answer; Under. Worst team in league history potentially. Even the normal Free Agent NBA retreads we tend to attract are going to want to avoid Sacramento)

Not sure why everyone except Hield and Skal have stopped playing. I think they should try to win.
Edit: not fair to say that. Lawson played well and had 15 points and was +8. WCS was +7.

On the plus side Hield has made plays that no SG on our roster had in years. I think he has a lot of potential to be a star. Skal has a lot of potential also.

For those who think we would be tied for the 8th spot... The pels won but without Cousins because he was suspended for tecs. So he probably would have missed a game by now. Not that I really want to talk about him anymore. I'm going to try not to.

I'll give you that. Hard to imagine most of our shooting guards pulling off that amazing fast break backcourt pass turnover like Buddy did.

Actually, the Kings have a much stronger SG corps than they did before they traded Demarcus & Omri (but Omri had been out basically the whole season, so there's zero difference in recent games).
Which means, the Kings added Tyreke Evans (who this board has slobbered over for years, wishing they had him over our interminably-unproductive and unreliable SG's), and one of the top-ranked SG's of the draft, and only lost Boogie and cranky punk Matt Barnes who was supposedly so useless and damaging that they waived him.... and they instantly became the worst team in the league........ by a LONG SHOT.

And it's not even close.
They were playing at home..... with rest.... shot 50% from 3, and the Nets didn't even have to try that hard to beat them.
The Nets (losers of 16 straight games!) rested Brook Lopez (29 minutes) AND Jeremy Lin (19 minutes) and won going away!
There were more missed layups (by both teams) that I can remember seeing in an NBA game.

Someone needs to make a meme about Grant Napear's proclamation that he would seriously trade Demarcus for nothing, and bring it up to him every single game that the reality of the Kings situation proves him wrong.

I think they should try to win.
Why? Explain me why? In this complete mess the only smart thing to do is tanking, losing as much as possible. What's the point to try to win a few games? Just to give the Bulls our pick? As far as I'm concerned, we should lose every single game this season, every single one.
We decided to press the reset button? Well, at least let's tank properly...

I couldn't agree more. To many solid players in this upcoming draft. We really need to keep on losing.
