I'm an idiot

Best game I have been to in five years. Could never imagine the life and vigor our team played with tonight. It is so obvious a huge weight has been lifted off their shoulders. One bad apple........

Can't expect the bench to play balls to the wall all year. Hopefully Evans remains semi-healthy. He's had a tough year, but he came back slowly (with minute limits) so hopefully he can ride it out. I kind of would rather see a lineup of
PG - Collison
SG - Buddy
SF - Evans
PF - WCS
C - KK

Hopefully they will at least give it a try. Maybe go 8 or 9 deep for the rest of the year. Lawson, Skal, Toliver and/or Mc Lemore.

We were never going to win with Cousins. It seemed to me that nobody could ever get the right chemistry with Cousins. One player maybe, but you need all 5 on the floor to have it. Cousins didn't have chemistry with me either, because I didn't even watch most of the games this year because of him. I assume a lot of players he played with felt the same. You just get tired of it all after a while and tune out.. I sure did.

I'll join you if it keeps up. We've been burned too many times by short stints for me to be convinced yet. With that said tonight was a fun game and the team played well.

I thought Kosta and Willie looked terrible out there together. I'd ditch that unless you absolutely have to do it for rebounding reasons.

If we go on a crazy run and get to .500 and maybe even the 7th spot...

Is Joerger COY?
Yes
Unrivaled
By a mile
COD even (Decade)

But you're pushing it already, with those pink shades  .500??

That manic side is no sign of sound mental health either, dude... :D
I fear these are still sypmptoms of your PTSD {Post-Trade-Sans-DMC}.

It will get better in time, my friend, don't worry about it too much,
but I wouldn't engage in ANY decision making for the time being,
if I were you. (And I AM, in a way - at least I'm in your shoes...)

Ah, so you do just want the Kings to win. This is good. I'll totally forget the Laker comment.
Even when I want them to lose it's so they can learn or a change can happen. And ai did put a caveat on it "until Vivek is gone".

I simply totally underestimated the rest of the team.

You don't have to forgive anything. If this had turned out like I though it would (it still could go to crap, I'm just realizing the team's dynamic without Cousins) I will root for losses and embarrassment until V is gone.

What appears to be the real magic here is what Joerger is doing behind the scenes, and th impact that is having. We have a legend coach in the making.

Side note: I invented the terms lin and woss. Yeah that was me. I'm telling you dude I have cred.

Oh I'm still gonna run my mouth. The internet is where I get to be crazy and nobody gets hurt.

So you didn't watch most games this year, but you know, that nobody could get the right chemistry with Cousins? I mean it's obvious, that it's all about the antics, the pouting and the body language. This terrible, terrible human being, that caused a black clould all over this poor franchise.....
Of course this has nothing to do with playing a 6'11, 260lbs guy with problems in the pick&roll defense and suddenly playing an ultra athletic team, completely suprising the opponent and getting in the open floor. God forbid, that there are actually basketball reasons. It must be the character of one guy dragging everybody else down.

Good job for these young guys playing hard. But let's not act like Vlade & Vivek and judge performance based on one game.

We played a struggling team in the Nuggets who have loss the last 4 of 6 and there was no way Mike Malone could've game planned for the Kings new roster because he didn't even know who's going to start or play. You have WCS playing out of his mind plus Skal & Buddy shooting a much higher percentage than usual.

The team shot 50% 3pt and 52% FG which is not sustainable. I believe that the team will play hard, but at some point when the roster settles and opponents start game planning their defense against the key guys (whoever they'll be), how will they play? I suspect that's when the value of a superstar like Boogie shines, as he's still going to do his damage whether you double or triple him. That's when you'll find out what we really have here.

I watched games this year then turned it off about 30 or so games into the season (maybe a bit less). I have also watched 90% of every other game that Cousins has played in as a King. It's all about the negativity. I don't know.. Maybe I have worked around a lot of negativity my whole life and it bugs me more than others, but Cousins (to me) is all about negativity, and it totally turned me off this year. I don't blame him for any of it, because he's had to endure a LOT of crap with this team, which is why I will always be a fan of his, but I don't want him playing on our team anymore.... We need to move in a new direction.

Reminds me of a person in an office setting who's always negative, but the others in the office act like his friend or whatever, but when he finally gets fired or quits the whole office breathes a sigh of release. It's a new beginning and the perceived negative influence is gone.

On talent alone we had a lineup which should be a playoff team, and if they gelled we would be, but the gelling never took place.
