Trade deadline approaching for Kings

So (allegedly) Indiana is now shopping Paul George, which may indicate them being out on acquiring Okafor. Okafor may be landing in Sactown some way, somehow?
A question for someone with more knowledge than I - Can the Kings trade Tyreke immediately, as in today, as part of a package or is there some waiting time before a recently traded player can be traded prior to the trade deadlline? If that makes any sense. Thx
Unfortunately not every FO is as dumb as ours and Philly will be patient with Okafor until they get the offer they want, an asset like Okafor does not come along everyday, wish our FO knew that.

The Kings can trade Tyreke immediately, but they cannot package other players with him to match salaries.

That said, I don't see how Tyreke could be a piece in an Okafor deal. Is Philly straight up dumping Okafor?

Okafor averaged 17.5 pts and 7 rebounds per game as a rookie, his best stats year.

Noel average 11.1 pts and 8.0 rebounds and 1.5 blocks per game, his best stats year.

That is pretty solid production from a front court.

Both players had the best statistical year of the careers last year, before Embiid's return.
Well I watched quite a few 76ers games during that season, because I was curious if Okafor would be the next big thing at center and him and Noel were constantly getting in each others way. Last time I checked the lineup with Noel as the lone big, was quite a bit better, than the lineup featuring Okafor and Noel at the same time. As far as I remember they began to play Noel more and more with the bench unit, because Okafor and him couldn't share the court. Brown tinkered a lot to make it work, first playing Okafor at the 5 and Noel at the 4, but switching things after the All-Star break, because of Noels rim protection.

This blog adresses some of the problems with the Okafor+Noel pairing.

I was inquiring whether the Kings could somehow just trade off Evans to basically just dump his salary, not necessarily in a package for Okafor.
On Okafor, seems their potential destinations are drying up with NO as of Sunday no longer a suitor, the Pacers taking inquiries on George, maybe they truly are desperate to move him? Maybe I'm just overly optimistic in a sh*t week to be a Kings fan...lol

Sam Amick's latest Paul George story states that Bird has spoken with the Kings about Afflalo. Not sure what they'd give up for him, but he should definitely be on the block right now.
But he actually helps the tank as a scrub lol

Washington trading their first.. but they have Burke and Mahinmi where Collison/Koufos are..

Still, the firsts are drying up..

Maybe the rights to Osman an option if the Cavs need help and there are no firsts left?

Perhaps Charlotte? They were another potential suitor for Lou Williams. Doubt we'd get their 1st, though, without substantial protection.

The Cavs don't have a trade exception that fits Collison's contract, I don't think. Lawson could work, but I actually would like to keep him to run with the kids and develop WCS, through the rest of this season at least.

IF there is anything to this story I don't see anything the Kings have that I would NOT trade for George... just saying.

Wow. Was just listening to Philly sports radio.....they're out of it. Callers calling in and talking to hosts who apparently think they're going to get Lillard AND a draft pick for Okafor. People are on crack.
That's what we would have said about the Boogie trade...

Why would Larry Legend want Aaron A-Slow-o, er, Affalo? Has his League Pass been on the fritz since November? :) Perhaps he is feigning in interest in Affalo to unload Monta Ellis who's owed $23M after this season compared to 2.5M to A-Slow-o with buyout. Remember Larry called Willie a $100M player pre-draft to hype his value before drafting Myles Turner.

I'm hearing nothing accept Vlade assuring Darren he won't be traded

Might not be a lot of movement after all
This might be the most telling bit of info about Vlade being way, way, way over his head.

You just traded your best player for way under value in order to build for the future. A vet like Collison who is a FA and won't be in our future plans has no buisness on this team anymore. There 100% is a market among the playoff teams for a 6th man type like Collison where we under normal circumstances would be able to snag a protected first and maybe a young guy. Yet we're keeping him why?

Endlessly frustrating
