Why does this team have to screw around with an inferior opponent? It frustrates me to no end. This game had no business being close. The Kings controlled the game and had a 48 minute mismatch with Cousins yet still had to sweat out a win?

C'mon guys. You aren't good enough to take anybody for granted. Gotta develop a killer instinct, rather than the coast because we're better mentality.

They did get the W so I won't belabor the point more than I already have, but it was damn close to major disappointment tonight.

It's easy. Tonight wasn't takin anyone or anything for granted.

Kings with Boogie and a PG ----> Clearly superior.

Kings backups with no PG and no Boogie ----> Not good. At all.

Indeed... give a rest... u and I both know that game didn't need to be that close... mental lapses still happening. Not playing smart still a problem... baby steps but a win is a win and he's getting better and figured out what he needed to do at the end
Just giving you a hard time. Yeah the game didn't need to be that close, but looking at Boogies direction for the blame of that is misguided, imo.

I agree, let's give it a rest and enjoy this winning streak.

Woo! GO KINGS!

Boogie needs to be THE leader... not garret temple. If we could put temples heart in boogie today we're a lock in the playoffs... Cousins is the MJ of Sacramento right now.

He needs to get the never quit ever kind of leadership play style... it was a great showing by cuz... he's improving... no techs...haha and he really only lagged that ONE time I posted about it. Keep in mind I didn't say he did it "many times" but the one time the lakers capitalized on it.

Anyway Cousins is a HOF talent! And was totally a boss tonight!

Damn close to major disappointment is what being a Kings fan is all about. Just sit back and enjoy it.

You say they need to develop a killer instinct? I say they're well on the way. Remember, they're still building trust with each other and with the coach. I can remember a time in the not too distant pass when they would not have been able to get this win. They're turning a corner. They're finding a way to get the close Ws.

Like Darren Collison just said, "We didn't lose focus."

I really hope Ty will be aviable against Golden State. I've boticed Darren has had a couple of sub-par fourth quarters in a row, probably because he has had to play so many minutes as the only PG.

For the love of god, the team was -18 without Boogie on the floor.
Dude what is up with hate... I love boogie.... he's getting better... jeez relax... if someone points out when he does something stupid it's not the end of the world and it doesn't mean I don't think he's awesome ... chill out

Me too. But something tells me he'd be one of those players that wouldn't be near as good on your team as you remembered him when he played against you. Nick Anderson and Mahmoud Abdul-Rauf immediately come to mind....
Yeah I mean he's a bit of a chucker. He's averaging 18ppg from 12 FGA in 24 mins off the bench though. I believe every good team needs an offensive energizer off the bench. Remember Bobby Jackson? Of course you do, silly question, but you get my point. The key to a player like Lou is knowing when to bench him again if it's not his night.

Does he play PG much for the Lakers?
