Is there some email where fans can flood the NBA with complains about a very poorly officiated game? We should hold this ref accountable. From my memory, he seems to always be out to get Cuz. I've seen it more than a few times already.

This game illustrates point I've been making for awhile. In order for the Kings to win (compete) they need "MVP Boogie" to show up, and even when he shows up, like he did tonight, its no guarantee. Look at what three guys gave us tonight, our "grizzled and savvy veterans" of Tolliver, Affalo and Barnes:
  • 76 minutes, 18 points, 6-20 FGs, 5 REBs, 5 ASST
Those are empty minutes. Three guys running around not accomplishing much of anything. Its not a surprise with teammates like this Boogie can play all-world and still result in defeat.

I hope DeMarcus absolutely tears into the NBA and Vivek personally pays every cent of the fine.

This league is shady AF. I don't care what anyone says to defend refs and the pace of the game making it hard to call, I find it impossible to believe there aren't hidden agendas in the minds of most of the officials.
The ref is a blind bat with pea-sized brain. You can see he reacts unconsciously instead of responding consciously. He sees Wade's knees buckle and falsely assumes he was pushed in the back. A good ref does NOT make assumptions like that. The reason his knees buckled is because he couldn't get enough lift and got hung up on the rim. Obviously that's not a foul! The play at the end of the first half was similar in that an incorrect assumption is made when the defender (Temple) swipes at the ball he made contact with shooters (Butler) arm or wrist. The worst type of officiating is when officials assume something that they didn't see....they might as well flip a coin if that's their mental state.

If the Kings organization is committed to Cousins they better start lobbying on his behalf to the league. What is it...his 6th or 7th season and the refs continue to treat him like a rookie. Yes he complains a lot, but the guy is fouled on nearly every play. Cuz is a lot like Shaq, just because the guy is big the refs let smaller guys push, bump and grab on them because it doesn't look so bad, but a foul is a foul.

Cousins, on the controversial whistle: "They made the absolute right call. Incredible job by the referee crew tonight... (cont'd)

Chris Herring ‏@Herring_NBA 5m5 minutes ago "I don't have a complaint in the world. I think they should get more recognition for how well they ref these gms." (Cont'd)

"I don't think they get the credit they deserve. Kudos to them. I applaud." *six consecutive hand claps*

"[The refs] controlled the game perfectly tonight. Did a great job. I don't have a complaint."

The rest of the NBA better watch out. If Boogie can maintain his composure and turn it into a "Us against Them" scenario like he did tonight, there will be no stopping him.

If the NBA fines him for these comments, I'm starting a GoFundMe account. One good thing about social media comments - sarcasm is incredibly hard to prove. :D
