Is there some sort of Internet joke to get Zaza on the team? I just checked the results and he would be a starter if it closed today. He has the second most frontcourt player votes in the Western Conference behind only Durant.

Also don't underestimate the power of the Golden State bandwagon machine.

Kevin Durant is getting all the votes despite a huge chunk of NBA fandom hating his guts now.

Nah, there's more to it than that: remember that he almost got voted in last year in Dallas, too.

@lwc pretty much has it right: a bunch of internet ****bois decided that it would be funny if they could get Zaza Pachulia voted into the All-Star game, and then their ****boi campaign captured the imagination of the entire Republic of Georgia, and the Georgians were like, "This is the opportunity we've been waiting for our entire lives!"

I mean, I'm sure that there are also a bunch of Golden State bandwagoners voting for Pachulia, but this horse**** is a good two or so years in the making.

Thankfully the NBA doesn't determine the starters like they ised to. The fan vote makes up 50% of total vote while player/media votes account for the other 50%. This, Zaza needs a much larger lead on the players under him to have any chance of starting.

Only 2 days to go, today and tomorrow. Give Boogie a little boost. I think those little boosts may mean more now than they used to, since the fans' vote is not the final say. Get Boogie as close to the top 5 as possible, and then hopefully let the players' vote overwhelm the idiot fans and media.
