And so, for the second time in the 2009-2010 season, our young Kings are at .500 and showing no signs of letting up on either the heart or the hustle.
This group of players has the heart...they don't give up and they don't know the meaning of the word "quit." They give their all and they challenge each other to do better. From the rookies to the veterans, they've all bought into the plan and they're giving their all.
They've got the hustle...they dive on the floor for the loose balls, they take the occasional kick in the head and come back out to play some more, they cheer for each other as though every game is a game 7.
Just as importantly, the coaching staff is engaged, they're involved and they're motivating the players to be all they can possibly be. It's been a very long time since the hallowed halls of Arco saw such a team effort on behalf of everyone connected with the team.
And how can you miss Gavin, sitting on the sidelines cheering and celebrating right along with the rest of the Arco faithful?
This team is one that is officially starting to take my breath away. It's exciting on TV, but I have to urge everyone to make every effort possible to see them in person and support them as they grow into a team that is truly worthy of Arco Thunder on a nightly basis. Check out the "We've got a deal for you" thread in the main forum. We here at Kingsfans.com can offer you a chance to attend a game with other board members AND get a discount on the tickets. You can't ask for much better than that, can you?
I know I get carried away at times, but this team deserves all the support we can possibly give them.
I've said it before, and I'll say it now...
I LOVE THIS TEAM!!!

Every one should husyle down and get some Kings tickets.
The Kings have got me in the holiday spirit.
I could go on. But I don't think any of this is an accident. You have to give credit to the coaching staff. The players have bought in, and believe. The fun part is, that their only going to get better. They're still learning how to play together. This team is like a new automobile engine. Plenty of power, but the timing is still off, and it needs a little fine tuning in spots.
The schedule is about to get tougher. But if the team keeps improving and remains dedicated, they just might surprise us some more.. I look forward to it.
