Roster construction/rotation discussion (Split from Grizzlies [Game] thread)

IMO its absolutely not a rebuild when you continue with the same exact process and same exact strategy. If at the beginning of every year you start with the "we have to make the 8th seed/play in", you keep doing the same thing all over again. To me rebuild is when you actually change somethin...

Roster construction/rotation discussion (Split from Grizzlies [Game] thread)

Theres allways been a clear plan with the Kings. We'll see how this one goes but my point was that the process has literally been proven to be bad for god knows how many years and it directly had led to these bad decisions. This current plan was formed from the same strategy/process as all the...

Roster construction/rotation discussion (Split from Grizzlies [Game] thread)

Well first of all as we've seen for the past how many years, that strategy is bad. It leads to bad future with minimal success in the present. This leads to situation where you think "you must make the playoffs". Its a horrible cycle that I've hoped and hoped we ended for so many years now...

Roster construction/rotation discussion (Split from Grizzlies [Game] thread)

The problem isnt a single decicion like wether we should've traded Barnes or not. The problem is the bigger picture, the process or the strategy what ever you want to call it. Its the horrible process that causes a lot of these mistakes that generate these hidsight discussions. like @The_Jamal...

BREAKING- Cavs trade for Donovan Mitchell

Its extremely hard to say how high those unprotected Cavs or Min picks will be on 2027 or 2029 (Cavs unprotected, Min top 5 protected). Or all those swaps or even the 2025 picks. Neither of those teams are elite and one bad season could mean their pick that year are in the lottery. Also five to...

    Keegan Murray

Holmes being the best player for us tells more about the lack of talent for us rather than him being great. When it comes to him playing with Sabonis, it most likely wont work. The league is moving more and more towards maximizing spacing. We cannot give an opponent such an advantage where we...

    2022 Free Agent Targets

Kleber was and is extremely important in the playoffs. He allows Mavs to play 5 out and I really dont see them swapping him for Holmes who is much less valuable player. Would love it though and I would've given good money for him when he was a free agent few years ago

Analyzing the Murray pick (Split from the Welcome thread)

If he was forced to guard 3's next to Collins it wouldnt be ideal. Murray is not a bad defender but with Sabonis, Fox and Collins you would pretty much need all nba level defenders next to them in order to be competitive

Analyzing the Murray pick (Split from the Welcome thread)

Lineup with Fox, Murray, Sabonis, Collins would be so bad defensively that we would never be actuall contenders. And thats pretty much guaranteed. Hard no on giving up anything significant on Collins.

The Official SPOILERS 2022 NBA Draft Thread

Google some better info on prospects, find better experts you listen or watch some tape yourself. It was extremely easy to see how this Bagley experiment would turn out. If you cant do that and only follow on basic mock drafts then you shouldnt have such strong opinions on this subject

The Official SPOILERS 2022 NBA Draft Thread

Unbelievable take in 2022. Bagley had huge flaws and every credible evaluator could see he will never be a star level player by his actual impact, even being a starter level player was very questonable. After four years you would expect people to see this but apparently not

The Official SPOILERS 2022 NBA Draft Thread

Well deserved. I dont want anyone even close to the building that thought Bagley as a prospect was worthy of a 2nd pick. That sounds toxic as ****. As I've been saying, ownership is a huge competitive advantage and we pretty much have the worst of them all

The Official SPOILERS 2022 NBA Draft Thread

From the begining it was clear that he has zero vision, cant create for others, cant play center defensively and will struggle to play 4 offensively if the 5 is clogging the paint. Whoever saw elite upside for him, god bless but that was a huge misevaluation and fireable decision

The Official SPOILERS 2022 NBA Draft Thread

Bagley was a massive misevaluation. For any credible evaluator Bagleys ceiling wasnt that high

Orlando did great with their first pick, Pistons must be very happy and Blazers could've probably become the biggest winner in this draft
