Joerger emphatic about something with Temple/Hill going into that timeout. I think they didn't let Zbo get that high post position just perfect before they started moving the ball.

Hah, yeah that is true. Dwight posting with success and the Kings running the high post offense. Seems like we just entered 2008 watching this.

But overall, they brought in Dwight to pair with Frank, Kemba, Batum, and Marvin Williams. Lamb off the bench. 13-23 and Malik Monk has a long way to go to seeing the court consistently it seems. Charlotte might win tonight, but I'm not sure I'd take their roster/situation over the Kings.
It's a tough choice! :p

I keed. My previous post's snark aside, I agree with you. They're a bit more treadmill than we are with Dwight/Kemba/garbage. We have more interesting youngsters as well.

Feels like team is hitting the wall that buries us down the standings. Would not be surprised if we lose something like 12-14 here in the next few weeks and team fully shifts to youth and we see some trades.

Tear the bandaid off! I know a lot of you aren't down, but you'll praise this year's lins if we score in the draft.

We should save all our wins for beating the LA teams and scrubs like the Cavs and Warriors. Oh, and the Spurs because I hate Rudy (probably more than I should).

last game they allow 68 I believe to the Grizz at half, now 72 to the Hornets. Yikes! This is getting worse before it gets any better. This team has been unwatchable.

Kings give up 72 points at the half. What the hell has happened to the defense?
when did they ever have defense? Fox gets buried in the screens time and time again, slow-bo continues to overhelp which practically sets a clear lane to the basket for the opposition and so the rest of the team follows.

Yeah, tell me this joker didn't blow his top over someone not getting the ball to Zach there. Sure worked didn't it considering the team said F it at the end after showing a bit of a spark. Eric Musselman would be proud. lol.

It was thought when we had Phx/Mem/Cha at home that we could maybe have started a bit of a run..

Team is terrible, tv off

The players stuck this out longer than I expected considering they are a losing team. He could always pull out the wuss card at half time and inspire his guys for this one game if it's not beyond that or he hasn't exhausted that one already. When that gets exhausted then trade demands follow. At least now the players can move on from denial straight to apathy.

I feel like the Kings have given up open threes more than any team over the last decade plus. It's like team has been stuck in the 90's defensively this whole time and haven't got the memo that NBA teams want to launch threes at record numbers.
The Kings' opponent 3pt fg % is 38.5 this year (second worst in the league). 42.7% the last three games. Weeeeeeee!

I am starting to suspect that Joerger is coaching to get fired.

I still can't underrate the tank factor. If it is there is no question it's genius on Joergers part if losses are all that matters to the FO. He put two groups of players out there that I don't think have even played together, and if they have it was way early in the season. You play disjointed ball when you do that stuff.

In the end something obviously needs to change. The rotation isn't as bloated tonight so far but ditch the platoon, stop trying to force in a bad fit system, and there might be time to bring some of the negative vibes around. Sure, it will totally end his relationship with the sitting veterans or young guys who don't play, but you are seeing why platoons don't work. VC's comments after the big Cavs win let the truth out of the bag and this road apparently still leads to the sewage plant.

This is off-topic, but these are mostly jazz or perhaps samba dance steps to a chaotic hip hop beat. It makes no sense.

(Much like the Kings*)

In regards to my Joerger post:

One of the ways a coach can **** up a team is irregular rotation minutes. Like any job, you feel better knowing what your role is. If you keep resetting the roles of everyone then you can junk that cohesive element up. I feel it's rather obvious there is no continuity in this team right now. You can argue, from a point of view, that Fox returning to the Starting Lineup after weeks of absence is a snag. Except, what lineup and rotation is consistent? What established system does Fox screw up? None. That's the suspect part. Why does Skal start or not play at all? Nothing aimed towards success works like this. Joerger signed up here with a top 10 player n roster and then that guy was gone. This and the rotation sabotage is why I give this thought.
