[Game] Kings @ Timberwolves - 4/1/17 - 5PT/8ET

Bring up I. Cousins

Cousins (36 min) / Hield (12 min)
Hield (24 min) / Galloway (24 min)
MCLemore (36 min) / Labissiere (12 min)
Labissiere (24 min) / Cauley-Stein (24 min)
Cauley-Stein (12 min) / Papagiannis (36 min)

Perhaps you could mix in Galloway or Afflalo to give some of the young guys a rest but this is how you get your young guys plenty of minutes to develop and this is how you field a team that won't hurt your draft position.

Glad we didn't waste last years draft pick on Kris Dung. The guy was way overhyped. The Wolves should be so much better, Thibs is a slob looks like a coronary waiting to happen.

Joerger B+ just took a major hit today. I am so tired of never cashing in well on the draft and the one time we did trading him away for Buddy, and a 10-14 pick.

And rest the rest

Joerger has no respect, it needs to come from management

Feel free to start your diatribe about draft picks quite frankly I'm watching a bunch of guys playing for the Kings none of them were top three pick playing their asses off. I'll always take guys to play their asses off over guys that are "top picks". Personally I can't respect any coach or player who doesn't try to win every game.
But most of these guys winning the game for us tonight won't even be here next year. How does that carry over to next year? IT DOESNT.

That's factually untrue. Willie buddy and Tolliver are all under contract for next year either Collison or Lawson are likely to be back

Well Thibs out coached Joerger tonight. I hear the argument that one would rather the Kings play their hearts out over the ping pong balls, but bottom line you don't win against a team that played to out tank you. Might have well played Sacramento High varsity team and get excited over the win.

Some of you are forgetting a big point that Coach just mentioned. This was the FIFTH game in 7 nights. Guys are tired. I think one of the things that would really upset this franchise is if one of the young guys were to get injured at the end of the season while playing too many minutes.

I'm happy with what I saw tonight. If some of you aren't, that's your choice. I asked a while back for those who just want to see the tank to avoid the negative comments in the game thread during the game. Before? Fine. After? Go for it. But why is it necessary to suck what little joy some of us find in rooting for our Kings at every single juncture? Seriously...

I love this board. I love the Kings. Right now, I just wish the season would be over so this crap can end. As Celt said, when you're watching young players dig deep and play the best ball of their lives it just feels dirty to me to root against them.

Don't be excited. That's your choice. But why does it bother you so much if some of us are kinda happy to see the kids playing their hearts out? In all honesty, I seriously doubt if any of us rooting for them from our living rooms made them play harder.

Kingsfans.com is a fan community, where people come (or at least used to) to watch the games together, to share the enjoyment, to pretend for just a couple of hours we're sitting together in the arena instead of spread clear across the globe.

I don't want a coach who coaches to lose. He's sitting players, and he's putting the kids in pretty uncomfortable situations. These kids AREN'T LOSERS. They're in the NBA because they've worked hard all of their lives to reach this level. They compete and play their hearts out and they deserve to be treated accordingly. You never pull somebody because they're playing too well unless you want to destroy their spirit.

There's 0 excuse for Tolliver and afflalo to be with 10+ more minutes than Ben and Skal. All the young guys should be 30+ minutes with papa around 20 to 25. This is the kind of bullcrap that keeps us from ever truly getting better in the long run.

If the kids win playing big minutes, fine that's cool. No excuse for afflalo lawson Collison Tolliver getting big minutes at this stage

Again, if we rock a lineup of WCS/Skal/Buddy and we win, sure, I can live with it. But there was no reason not to have Skal on the floor in the 4th. None.

Willie and Hield had great games today. Willie didn't back down from KAT at all.

On another note, Papagiannis and Skal looked better than Dunn did. I know he's a rookie, but he's older than your typical rookie at 23 yearsold. He constantly looked LOST out there tonight. I know he'll be a lot better next year. Just came here to brag about our 13th and 28th picks looking a lot more promising than the 5th pick.

I hope we see less of the vets moving forward.

Besides the fact that he looked totally and complete spent?

I know we are all passionate fans. I can accept that. I can't keep arguing this point for the simple reason we'll never agree. So, I'm done for tonight. :)

Clearly Joerger needs to play Hield, McLemore, Labissière, Cauley-Stein and Papagiannis forty-eight minutes a game each, the rest of the way, or he's just not a team player.

can't even tank properly. it'll cap off KANGZ year if we magically drop outta top 10 and peli's get top 3. wonder how vivek will feel if that happens lmfao

#89
I fully expect Vlade to be fired if we lose both of our picks, but NO is gonna finish with 11-13 so that won't happen imo.
you never know. KANGZ have extremely bad luck in the lottery

vlade's head will be on the chopping block if KANGZ lose both picks and unfortunately one of the reasons why is not due to his previous trade conditions.

Joerger isn't going to play nice, and I'm not a fan

It's up to management to rest any veterans that will take away from him playing the youth

It's on Vlade and Co. Joerger doesn't respect the pick
Well, he knows at the end of the day front offices look at the W-L and don't take into account that they nuked the roster in order to lose games. They want to lose games but they hate the sight of losing games, plus the average casual Kings fan..the people Vivek has to keep watching and coming to the games care what they immediately see and aren't so much in tune with the ramifications of winning too much in our situation.

I don't mind Joerger doing all he can to win. I blame Minnesota for being a disappointment.
