The Minnesota Timberwolves mascot, Crunch. In January 2017 Crunch earned NBA headlines when he performed a stunt that resulted in the father of team star Karl-Anthony Towns leaving the arena on crutches.
The most unfortunate event of Thursday night at Target Center had nothing to do with the Timberwolves’ loss to the Pacers.

Rather, it was during a timeout, when the Timberwolves’ mascot, Crunch, slid down an aisle of the stands...

In the clip, Towns Sr. can be found in the front row on the right side of the aisle, directly next to an empty seat. Near the end of the slide, Crunch veers to his left and clips the seat next to Towns Sr. The seat was jostled and looks to have clipped Towns’ knee...

New Orleans went about as well as could be expected. Howdy Doody was in rare form as was also expected. I'm not going to bother to repeat his tweets, but insincere, dishonest, untruthful, false, deceitful, duplicitous, lying, mendacious and hypocritical are the words that come to mind in regards to his comments.

Now, about Minnesota. Wiggins, Towns and company probably won't be as humiliating as the Pelicans, but we're still gonna lose. Be good to see Casspi, even if it is in the uniform of the Twolves. Gotta admit - our kids are learning some tough lessons from some of the best young players in the league.

Alright, so I can get on board with beating the tough playoff-tested Grizz for coach and handing out the GOAT comeback within 5 minutes to the whiners in LA, but for the love of all that is holy. LOSE.THIS.GAME. Very well could mean the difference between us being in 6th or 9th position by the end of the season with how Dallas is starting to collapse as well. Also keeps us in play for moving up to 5th or even 4th with the Magic just 2 games "ahead"

Don't worry. Our big men have yet proven to be able to stop former Kentucky big men and we literally have no small forwards so expect KAT and Wiggins to drop 40 points a piece.

With each loss Joerger mentions the lack of size on the wing in the post game presser. Be nice to have a couple of SF's next season:)

Didn't watch last night's game. Doubt I will watch this one. Can't stand watching a team that isn't trying it's hardest to win. That keeps getting rid of all-stars for peanuts. That can't figure out how to build a team that can compete without sabotaging it along the way.

Better I just watch something else and hope, like I have for the last decade and a half, that things might get better next year. What a lousy way to feel as a fan....

Uncomplicate things, play everybody you've got and beat 'em. No pussyfooting around, go for the jugular and, if necessary, g down fighting. Go Kings!

Gtant just announced the starting lineup as Collison, Hield, Skal, Evans and WCS...and then said McLemore.

WTH?

Looks like WCS, Hield, Ben, Skal and Collison... Not that it matters. We're gonna get killed.

I like Doug Christie...always have. Having said that, I'm changing my mind about him being a part of the TV broadcast team. He's trying too hard to channel Jerry and it's really irritating. If he'd just comment on the game and make the insights only a former player can make, he'd be a lot better.
