[Game] Kings @ Thunder - 3/18/17 - 12PT/3ET

#61
Adams and Kanter are large dudes, and even gave some trouble to Cuz.

I reckon we can't be too hard on Trill and Skal because they're being bounced around.
Can WCS play the 5 full time though? In the future? He's a 4/5 tweener at this point. Skal will be at the 4

I know we're supposed to take heart for the future and embrace the idea that the kids are learning some valuable lessons (like the Thunder are really, really, really good), but this is painful to watch.

Okay, things are looking a little better. I don't expect us to pull out a win but I do want to see competitive hunger...and so far, so good.

The fact that at only 19 Papa has already put the work in to lose a bunch of weight and improve by leaps since summer league says good things about his future.
Seems I'm eating a lot of crow lately, but since my initial negative reactions towards him I've been watching more closely. He has good instincts...and he's not afraid to get in there with Kanter or Adams, two of the biggest beefy jerks in the league. :)

I am not unimpressed with Papa G. sure he is slow footed and out of his element out there, but he has the size and basic skill set to defend legit bigs. He is getting to the right places and doing the right things but often a half second too late. On the offensive end he is doing the things you expect of a center and again maybe a little slow or out of syn but the problem is not LEARNING or skills it is speed and timing.
