What a FA signing! I wonder if the rest of the league notices he's got to be arguably the best under the radar signings in the off-season

Why wasn't he signed to a multiple years contract?
One of those career revitalization plans, and opportunity here, bigger pay day maybe after the season. Low risk for us, considerable for him. But we quite honestly may have been the only team who would have wanted him where he'd know he had a shot.

Well part of it also seems to be that Omri actively wants to be in Sacramento, what with his plan to buy into the potential MLS franchise and general outspokenness on the Seattle situation and the like.

Seems like a fantastic fit for everyone.

This was his first home in the NBA too. Maybe we will sign him for a fair multi year deal here coming up.

Easy to say that now that he's playing his ass off. Before this year, I'm not sure if he was worthy of a multi year deal.
The importance of the proper role for role players. Casspi is a good slashing wing with good vision out of the high post. He is not a stretch four (Houston) or a 3 and D wing (Cleveland.) He plays very well making backdoor cuts feeding off the attention Cousins draws in the post.

This team really is one backup center away from making postseason noise.

Don't need a backup center in the playoffs. Boogie would be playing 40 mpg.

Great slasher, hustle. Thought signing him was not a mistake, but a nothing move. Uh, wrong! Already a positive no matter how the season unfolds from here.

Would love to see his numbers when he's on the floor with Cousins. Chemistry is there, and the freedom to slash.
