[Game] Kings vs. Celtics. 2/22/14

I don't know if I've ever heard of a player getting a career high in the mid 20's with efficient shooting...and then getting no playing time in the next games? Has that ever happened before?

Dang. You guys can call Boogie a baby all you like. That montage just showed that he's getting the crap slammed out of him tonight.

I think right now Malone is playing to win. Winning this game would do a lot for the team. More, I think, than giving Ben a couple of more minutes.

This makes me angry. Makes absolutely no sense. This, right here, is the experience he needs. With nothing on the line. Why not? Why the heck not?

C'mon Malone.
This is part of my problem. I don't know what the Kings are trying to achieve. Malone, who I like for now, says one thing and then doesn't follow through.

How is 'nothing on the line"? The game is on the line, and it matters to the players, coaches, front office, etc.

This would have been a bad loss. I don't have an issue with Malone playing to win, provided he DOES win. It looks like he made the right move tonight.

I still don't understand why they don't do that more often, instead of posting Thompson up so much. Thompson is probably the best on the team at finding Cousins inside.
Every other game or so you'll see Cousins get that seal and JT will float a pass over the defense. We don't do it enough, but Cousins is great at getting his defender out of position on and off the ball. Hump had no chance on that one.
