The only thing Im not enjoying about them is the Chet/SGA commercials with those awful leather jackets

I think we woulda taken at least two games off each of these teams moving on.

I still disagree (very respectfully). I don't think we would have really had as significantly better of a chance against the Thunder than the Pelicans did at the end of the day. I still see the Thunder sweeping us, or winning 4-1. But I doubt playoff Kings would've been able to win any more than maybe 2 games against OKC. 4-0 or 4-1 would've still been my prediction, and I would've gladly stood by it 100%, just like I am at this very moment.

Keep in mind that, during the regular season:

Thunder against the Pelicans: 2-1
Thunder against the Kings: 2-2

And the point differential wasn't all that different. I think the Thunder match up equally as well against the Pelicans as they do against us.

Some of y'all (both on here and in the media) are very much so underestimating the OKC Thunder right now. This is, very much so, a Western Conference Finals-worthy team. Do I think they get past Denver? No. But I do think they get past either Dallas or the Paper Clippies. Also, in order to give credit where credit is due, should the Timberwolves manage to go all the way to the WCF, that is a series I'd be most interested in watching. That would be a tossup in my opinion.

I wonder if Jordi regrets taking the Nets job so early. The Lakers Suns and Nets are all a mess in their own way but coaching Lebron for a year or two before they blow it up could be better than Brooklyn. I get it though, the jobs are tough to get and he probably didn't want to risk it.

Russell doesn’t use his mouth guard as a mouth guard at all. Atleast Steph sometimes has his in place.

Not too impressed with Nuggets, but regardless Wolves/Nuggets is the best series of this season.

I don't think Denver can make it all the way even to the Finals this season (the so called "World Series" I mean), they get zero contribution from their bench especially when it comes to offense and Murray doesn't look healthy.

I don't question whether you believe this, but I do think it begs the follow-up question, how much of this belief of yours is informed by your spirit being broken by the last two months of the regular season?

That doesn't matter but so much, because the Kings match up better against the Thunder than they do against the Pelicans. Kings/Thunder would have been a much more competitive series, and one that the Kings had a better than 50 percent chance of winning, in my opinion, simply because the thing that the Pelicans can do to kill Sacramento's offense (neutralize Sabonis), the Thunder can't do.

Either way, I would like to have seen it happen, just to see if my theory about how the Kings played the regular season is correct.

Since the TWolves won't be reffed like the Lakers were, I like the Nuggets chances.

Nuggets got 15ppg from their bench in the first round, which I suppose would be a problem if their starters weren't so productive... but their starters were so productive.


We'll see. Personally, I don't think that the lakers exposed any weaknesses in the Nuggets that can be exploited by any team that does not have LeBron James and Anthony Davis on it. I guess we'll find out, soon enough.
